We enjoyed our overnight stay. The unit was clean & well appointed. We’ve never had such a large unit … it was huge. Staff were friendly and we had everything we needed. Very inexpensive as well. We would definitely use this motel again.

My wife and I ,as well as our three grown up children, stayed for one night in this motel and I would certainly recommend it. Excellent place, room’s spacious , and it had a kitchen and very nice bathroom. Very clean. We were splitting our journey from Rotorua to Wellington. There was no problem getting breakfast and lunch in the town . The 24hr BP service station was handy. I would certainly stay here again.

Our overnight stop at Aspen Court Taihape was again excellent. The room’s facilities are maintained, clean and still beautifully presented. We have stayed with you a number of times and the standard has always been kept very high. As a result of our stays, we have also stayed with Aoraki Court Motel at Mt Cook and Grand Suites Murchison. We have enjoyed all. We still appreciate your assistance back in 2010 when you held a room for us when we were on our way back to Auckland after being notified of a parent bereavement. Another wonderful stay. I have begun to break up road trips by staying here. In fact it’s part of the pleasure of a road trip now. Taihape is picturesque, the motel is spacious and well-appointed and I find it to be an absolute haven. George is lovely, friendly and a good communicator. I trust him and Annette. I noticed a slight smell whenver I would first enter the suite. When I read Aspen’s commitment to clean, healthy rooms I felt reassured and put the curious smell down to that. I stayed at the Nautilus in Napier a few days later which also does a fastidious job of maintaining clean, high quality suites, where I smelt that same smell. That was confirmation that my stays were clean and I put the curious smell aside.

Nice tidy motel, friendly staff and nice and close to places to eat. Will definitely be booking here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed My Unit. Great shower set up. Heat pump was great nice and warm and the bed was nice and comfortable. Fabulous I have stayed before and I will stay again.

Such an amazing place to stay. Neat, clean and well equipped. Great space in the one bedroom unit. Friendly and kind owners who are always welcoming to our kids.

This is our favourite stop-over from north to Wellington (and vice-versa). Quiet, roomy always clean. Would like enough comfortable chairs to sit in to match number of guests in the studio units – usually only one and the dining chairs are hard work!

Handy location when on a long drive and not that noisy considering it’s next to SH1. Accommodation was roomy, clean and tidy. The spa is dated but still good. 3 star due to customer service. I presume it was George? I almost felt like he rolled his eyes at me when I walked in. George was in can’t be bothered mode with me. He had no interest in instigating a conversation knowing I had driven a few hours to reach this accommodation. He was a let down for me and didn’t make me feel welcome!

Great stay. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed and our little ones love it. They get a room to themselves with their own TV and we get a big king bed. Nice and roomy for us all and they love the spa bath. Very warm room considering the times we have stayed temps have dropped below 0. Love it and will stay again next time we are up those ways.

Excellent service, large room, everything I needed was provided. Cooktop, microwave, jug, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, milk. Loved the under floor heating, kept the room warm without the provided air con (2⁰ morning).

Motel is well located only three hours drive north from Wellington Airport or three hours south from Rotorua. Room was spacious and very clean. My wife and I even had our own TV’s !
